J.F. Walleyes
Quaint establishment that borders
both a view of Lake Erie and the
Ohio State Park. Convenient
dockage and within walking
distance of the main Middle Bass
dock. The patronage typically
consists of transient boaters, Lake
Eire Island Yachting Members,
Put-In -Bay adventurous explores
and local residents.
The Blue Lagoon is a recent
addition to the decor of Walleyes
and is a wonderful experience for
both young patrons and old.
Management adheres to a strict
practice of offering fun to the
young during the day and opening
adult activities after 9 P.M.
Food selection is various and offers a complete menu for all
customers. Island life dictates that a full bar is available and
Walleyes makes no exception. Critics choice would be the any menu
item, but the perch basket excels what Jolly Roger or any local
esatablisment provides.
Locals claim that some of the fish is caught same day - Captain
Dwight Ritchie is not responsible........
Latest news is the dueling pianos and the "Shot Wheel" for drinks and cash prizes.
Always something new at J.F. Walleyes and 2009 is no exception. Make sure you and
your group makes time to visit this established tavern and Middle Bass Island Staple......

FUNNY THING - I WAS GOING TO RIP ON HAZARDS, BUT AFTER 2 SECONDS OF LOOKING ON THE
WEB - I HAD NO REASON TO DO SO......
Last summer my wife and I spent a weekend at Saint Hazard's Resort on Middle Bass Island (not a
bad choice). We had never been to Middle Bass before and were lured by the Saint Hazard's
web-site (bad choice) which appeared like a nice place (pictures are deceiving). After arriving the two
girls (imported lesbians) in the office were very rude (they are from Estonia - they should be pissed)
and seemed more interested in talking to friends on the internet ( its new to them) then helping us
find our villa and get checked in. Our experience did not improve as our villa was a pig-sty (what did
you expect at this point). We had booked our reservations thru the Island Club (another SHIT HOLE)
another agency that owns some of these villas which are actually halved mobile homes (thats being
nice - I would say halved run down coon infested homes). We were told it would be a few hours to get
it cleaned (lot of coon shit) and were offered a discounted dinner in the restaurant (bad choice - shut
down 3 times last year by Health Services) by the manager (another Estonian) for the inconvenience.
The manager and a Russian girl (Stalin's grandhild) appeared to be the only people running the
restaurant, kitchen, and bar on a friday! (AND THEY STILL LOSE MONEY!)
We later bumped into someone that was very drunk at the swimming pool (did you say seaman
pool?) who said that he was the bartender (not a surprise another drunk imigrant) there and
wondered why he wasn't working as the place was getting busy (probably cuz they have no cash for
payroll).
After our first day we stayed (you should have left) as little as possible at the resort and went to Put n
Bay. I would not recommend staying at Saint Hazards (I guess you are a travel agent now) or making
reservations with the Island Club (it's worse than St. Hazards) to anyone. Next time we will pay the
extra money and get a place on Put n Bay.
I have learned two things with the internet:
1. Do not believe many things you see or read.
2. Never communicate something you do not want others to read.

IF YOU BELIEVE ST. HAZARDS LOOKS LIKE THE PICTURE TO THE LEFT AND IS A NICE PLACE TO BE - REFER TO ABOVE RULE #1
